WEST COVINA, CA (February 7, 2021) – A man died Sunday evening after a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway in West Covina.
 
The pedestrian accident happened around 7:25 p.m. at South Vincent Avenue on-ramp.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was walking in the area when at least one vehicle struck him. He suffered significant injuries from the impact and died at the scene.
 
Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
It was unclear if the driver who struck the man remained at the scene or was cited by the CHP.
