Stolen Car Involved in Deadly Big Rig Accident on South Alameda Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 7, 2021) – A man died after a big rig accident on South Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles.
 
According to Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal big rig accident happened around 5:10 p.m. at 875 South Alameda Street. It also involved a reported stolen car.
 
The Los Angeles police were pursuing the car just a few minutes before the fatal crash. The stolen car collided with the big rig and got wedged underneath it.
 
As a result, a male occupant in the car died at the scene. His identity was withheld pending family notification.
 
Another patient was injured in the crash.
 
The full circumstances of this fatal accident remain under investigation.
