FRESNO, CA (April 23, 2024) — A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident near Olive Avenue and Hughes Avenue.
 
According to Fresno Police officers, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:00 p.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, a driver heading westbound on Olive Avenue struck a woman on the road. Subsequently, the impact sent her onto the hood of the car, resulting in a head injury.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived and took her to Community Regional Medical Center for immediate care.
