PALM SPRINGS, CA (March 22, 2024) — A man died in a motorcycle accident at Amado Road and Hermosa Drive.
 
According to Palm Springs police, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 9:22 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a 62-year-old man operating a motorcycle collided with a driver near the Tierra Hemosa and Casa Verde communities. Subsequently, paramedics responded to find the injured motorcyclist. Due to his condition, they brought him to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where he later died.
 
After the crash, authorities investigated the accident, closing the intersection for several hours before reopening it around 5:00 a.m. Thursday.
 
According to the investigation, alcohol did not factor into the cause. However, if anyone has additional information, please call the Palm Springs police.
