Man Electrocuted on Figueroa Street in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 20, 2023) — A worker was electrocuted at a workplace on Figueroa Street near 28th Street.
 
According to reports, the incident happened around 12:45 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a man who reports say was about 25 years old was working in the ceiling of a Taco Bell restaurant when he was electrocuted.
 
Soon after, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to 2718 South Figueroa Street to find the man in the ceiling. They subsequently extricated him and took him to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At the time of the report, police did not say what led to the electrocution. However, we will release an update once we receive further details.
