Two-Car Accident on Highway 94 in Jamul Sends 3 People to Hospital

 
JAMUL, CA (May 15, 2023) – A woman was trapped and two other people were seriously injured in a two-car accident on Highway 94 in a rural Jamul Thursday evening on May 11.
 
The accident happened around 7:08 p.m. at Otay Lakes Road. According to California Highway Patrol, two cars collided along the highway for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found the woman trapped inside her car. She was rescued and flown to Sharp Memorial with serious injuries.
 
A man and a woman in the other car also suffered major injuries. A ground ambulance took both to a local hospital for treatment.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
