Early Morning Rollover Crash on Highway 99 in South Sacramento Kills Woman

 
SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA (November 13, 2022) – A woman was killed in a rollover accident on Highway 99 in South Sacramento early Friday morning on November 11.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:00 a.m. near the 47th Avenue off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a car was traveling around 70 mph when it swerved across all lanes before flipping over and stopping in a ditch.
 
As a result of the crash, a female occupant in the car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
 
Authorities only identified the victim as a 33-year-old Sacramento resident.
 
It is unclear if there are other parties involved in the crash. It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
