Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on Fruitridge Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (August 29, 2023) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Fruitridge Road in Sacramento Sunday evening on August 27.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the woman was struck by a car in the 5000 block of Fruitridge Road around 9:00 p.m.
 
The woman suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release her identity once family members are properly notified.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
