Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Car on Fresno Street in Fresno Accident

 
FRESNO, CA (January 29, 2024) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident on Fresno Street near Cambridge Avenue.
 
According to Fresno Police officers, the deadly pedestrian accident happened at 6:00 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a southbound driver struck an unhoused female pedestrian in the roadway. Subsequently, the driver pulled over and paramedics responded to take her to Fresno Community Regional Medical Center. However, despite receiving life-saving efforts, she died moments later.
 
Following the crash, police interviewed the driver but have yet to identify the cause. If anyone has more information on this crash, please call Fresno Police.
