EL CAJON, CA (September 25, 2023) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Cuyamaca Street in El Cajon Friday evening on September 22.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:20 p.m. at Weld Boulevard. According to the El Cajon Police Department, a 2016 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck struck the woman in unclear circumstances.
 
First responders pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the truck stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
