Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash on 10 Freeway near Hoover Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 3, 2022) — A woman died following a pedestrian accident on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway on Tuesday, November 1.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, they rushed at 11:46 p.m. to the westbound 10 Freeway, west of Hoover Street. There they discovered the 24-year-old woman lying near the center divider.
 
Reports said the woman died at the scene due to sustained injuries. Her identity was not immediately available pending notification of loved ones.
 
Officers interviewed the motorist who remained at the location after the incident.
 
Authorities closed the westbound lanes of the freeway for around three hours during an on-scene investigation.
