41-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck DUI Driver on G Street in Wilmington

 
WILMINGTON, CA (November 12, 2023) – A 41-year-old woman died in a DUI pedestrian crash at G Street and George De La Torre Jr. Avenue in Wilmington on Friday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on November 10. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the female pedestrian was walking on the street when a vehicle traveling westbound on G Street struck her.
 
Paramedics responded and took the woman to a hospital, where she later died.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
