Young Mother Suffers Possible Broken Leg after Pickup Truck Crashes into Vallejo Home on Frisbie Street

VALLEJO, CA (November 23, 2021) – A woman suffered a possible broken leg after a pickup truck crashed into a house on Frisbie Street in Vallejo, Friday morning.

The crash happened just after 10:00 a.m. on November 19. According to the Vallejo Fire Department, an older model Toyota pickup truck sped down Santa Clara Street, hitting the curb on Frisbie Street.

It then went airborne, plowed through an aging three-foot fence, barely missed a persimmon tree, and slammed into the 828-foot home built in 1906.

A young mother inside the house suffered a possible broken leg. Paramedics took her to a trauma center for treatment.

The driver of the pickup appeared to suffer a gash on his head, and a female passenger had moderate injuries. Both were also taken to the hospital.

Because of structural damage, the fire department red-tagged the building.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.

The possible cause of the crash remains under investigation.
