Woman Hospitalized in Pedestrian Crash on College Avenue in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 4, 2023) — A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident on College Avenue near Lindo Paseo.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 11:11 p.m. Tuesday. For unknown reasons, a 26-year-old man driving a northbound 2014 Toyota Prius struck the 20-year-old woman in the crosswalk.
 
The victim suffered an intracerebral hemorrhage, facial fractures, a lacerated liver and a skull fracture.
 
Although she is in critical condition, authorities reported her stable. Information surrounding what drove the crash is unclear, but an investigation will confirm any unclear details.
