KEARNY MESA, CA (May 10, 2024) – A woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Cardin Street, early Thursday morning.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on May 9, at about 6:45 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a white pickup truck hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Cardin Street and Ronson Road.
 
Emergency crews transported the 40-year-old victim to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Her condition remains unknown.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
