NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 6, 2023) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Lankershim Boulevard near Valerio Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 4:12 a.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver left the scene after hitting a 40-year-old woman near the intersection.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene to find the victim lying in the road. However, she died later from her severe injuries.
