Woman Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries after Hit by Car while Trying to Break Up Fight on Knudsen Drive in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 23, 2024) – A woman was critically injured after being hit by a car on Knudsen Drive in Bakersfield early Thursday morning on August 22.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, multiple people were fighting in the street and the woman stopped her car and tried to stop the fight. While intervening, she was hit by another car in 5500 block of Knudsen Drive around 4:40 a.m.
 
The female driver of the car that struck the victim fled the scene.
