Woman and Child Airlifted in Two-Vehicle Accident on Kemper Avenue at Stevens Street [Adelanto, CA]

SUV and Semi Truck Collide on Kemper Avenue in Adelanto Critically Injuring Two People

 
ADELANTO, CA (November 20, 2022) – A woman and a child were airlifted to hospitals after a two-vehicle accident on Kemper Avenue in Chico Friday morning on November 18.
 
The accident happened around 6:15 am, at the intersection with Stevens Street. According to the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, a white Nissan Pathfinder SUV and a semi truck collided for unknown reasons.
 
San Bernardino County Fire responded and located the SUV with major damage. They used the jaws of life to extricate the 32-year-old female driver who was trapped in the wreckage.
 
Firefighters said there were a total of three patients, two of them in critical condition and a third with minor injuries.
 
Two helicopters took the juvenile patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center and the woman to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
