Hit-and-Run Crash on Miramar Street in University City Leaves Pedestrian with Multiple Injuries

 
UNIVERSITY CITY, CA (February 15, 2022) – A 22-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries in a hit-and-run crash at Miramar Street and Regents Road in the University City district of San Diego.
 
The crash happened around 6:09 p.m. on Friday, February 11. According to the San Diego Police Department, the female pedestrian was walking in a crosswalk when a vehicle traveling east on Miramar struck her.
 
As a result, the woman suffered multiple fractures to her left tibia-fibula. Responding paramedics took her to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver did not stop to render aid.
