Vanessa Taylor Killed, James Wolfe Hospitalized in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 18 [Palmdale, CA]

Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 18 in Palmdale Kills 56-Year-Old Woman

 
PALMDALE, CA (March 12, 2024) – Vanessa Taylor died in a two-vehicle accident in Palmdale late Friday evening on March 8.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:02 p.m. on Highway 18 at 263rd Street East. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2020 Dodge Ram and 2018 Ford sedan collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
Taylor was the driver of the Ford. She was ejected from her car and died at the scene. She was 56 years old from Lake Balboa, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics took the driver of the Ram, 43-year-old James Michael Wolfe, to Antelope Valley Hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Impairment is not a factor in the crash, which is under investigation.
