UFC Fighter Tony Ferguson Detained in DUI Crash on Sunset Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue
HOLLYWOOD, CA (May 8, 2023) — UFC fighter Tony Ferguson was arrested in a DUI accident on Sunset Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the drunk driving accident happened around 1:47 a.m. Sunday. For DUI-related reasons, UFC fighter Tony Ferguson crashed his Chevrolet Silverado into several parked vehicles before it overturned.
Shortly after, paramedics and police officers arrived to help extricate Ferguson and a front-seat passenger from the overturned vehicle. Both victims survived the crash with only minor wounds.
According to reports, Ferguson refused to take a breathalyzer test and was booked on suspicion of DUI at the Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Station. At 12:12 p.m., he was released with a June 1 court date in Los Angeles Municipal Court.
