Early Morning Hit-and-Run Crash Involving 2 Vehicles on Paradise Valley Road Leaves Two Women Dead

 
BAY TERRACES, CA (May 15, 2023) – Two women were killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Bay Terraces neighborhood early Sunday morning on May 14.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:26 a.m. in the 6000 block of Paradise Valley Road. According to the San Diego Police Department, a 2000 Honda Civic was traveling westbound when it made a left turn onto Munda Road. It then turned in front of a 2003 Ford F150 that was heading eastbound and the two vehicles collided.
 
As a result, the front seat passenger of the Honda, a 25-year-old woman, and the rear passenger, a 20-year-old woman, both suffered fatal injuries and died at the hospital.
 
Another rear passenger in the Honda, a 25-year-old man, had a complaint of pain. The driver had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
