Rollover Accident on Highway 145 in Madera County Leaves 2 Men Dead

 
MADERA COUNTY, CA (November 13, 2021) – Two men were killed in a rollover accident on Highway 145 in Madera County Friday night.
 
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on November 12, just west of Highway 41. According to the California Highway Patrol, a car was traveling westbound on Highway 145 when it lost control and drifted onto the right shoulder for unknown reasons. It then overturned, ejecting its two male occupants.
 
The victims, both men in their 30s from Madera, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities withheld their identities pending notification of their family members.
 
CHP officers said the men were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. They do not yet know if drugs or alcohol were factors.
 
Further investigation is underway.
