Small Plane Crashes at Van Nuys Airport Killing Two People

 
VAN NUYS, CA (August 4, 2023) – Two men were killed in a fiery plane crash at Van Nuys Airport Wednesday morning on August 2.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters were sent to the airport in the 16300 block of West Waterman Drive at 10:37 a.m. when a single-engine Cessna airplane crashed and burst into flames. The plane reportedly hit the ground in a very high impact.
 
Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames. However, the two male occupants on board were found to be deceased.
 
The identities of the two victims were not immediately available.
 
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the cause of the crash.
