Late Evening Traffic Accident on 405 Freeway in Long Beach Sends 2 People to Hospital

 
LONG BEACH, CA (March 14, 2022) – Two people were injured in a traffic accident on 405 Freeway in Long Beach, late Friday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:00 p.m. on March 11 at the Cherry Avenue exit. According to the CHP, the crash involved at least one vehicle.
 
Long Beach Fire Department responded to the scene and found three people in the vehicle. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extract three people from the wreckage.
 
Paramedics then rushed two of those three people to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
