Semi Truck Crashes on 10 Freeway in Blythe Sending 2 People to Hospital

 
BLYTHE, CA (February 13, 2023) – Two people were injured in a semi truck accident on 10 Freeway in Bythe Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:10 p.m. on February 10, just near Callbox 1432. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the semi truck had crashed along the freeway, spilling about 200 gallons of fuel.
 
Responding firefighters located the semi on its side in a ditch.
 
Two people, whose identities were not immediately available, suffered moderate injuries and were flown by air ambulance to a hospital.
 
Staff from the Riverside County Environmental Health responded to the scene to assist.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
