DUI Crash on Princess View Drive in Allied Gardens Sends Driver and Passenger to Hospital

 
ALLIED GARDENS, CA (October 15, 2023) – A passenger was injured and a driver was arrested after a DUI crash on Princess View Drive in the Allied Gardens neighborhood early Thursday morning.
 
The crash happened around 2:00 a.m. on October 12. According to the San Diego Police Department, a 38-year-old man was driving a gray 2015 Toyota Corolla northbound on Princess View Drive when he rear-ended a parked tractor trailer.
 
As a result of the crash, the driver sustained a laceration to his head. His passenger suffered a fractured left arm as well as a fractured pelvis.
 
Responding paramedics transported both to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment.
 
Police said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
 
SDPD’s Traffic Division is handling the investigation. They encouraged anyone with further information to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
