DUI Crash on Highway 99 in Fresno Leaves 2 Drivers Hurt

 
FRESNO, CA (November 7, 2023) – Two people were injured in a DUI crash on Highway 99 in Fresno Monday evening on November 6.
 
The crash happened just south of the Highway 180 intersection. According to the California Highway Patrol, an 18-year-old woman was driving under the influence when she slammed into a concrete barrier and hit another car.
 
As a result of the crash, the suspected DUI driver suffered major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The other driver suffered moderate injuries.
 
The DUI driver will be booked into the Fresno County Jail upon her release.
 
Further investigation is underway.
