SANTA ROSA, CA (June 5, 2023) – Two Maria Carrillo High School seniors were hospitalized after a car accident on Montecito Boulevard in Santa Rosa Friday evening on June 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened between Rincon Valley Community Park and Rincon Valley Regional Library.
 
Details of the crash were not immediately available, but officers said it occurred just after the school’s graduation ceremony.
 
One of the students was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries, but both students are in stable condition.
