Two Pedestrians Running Away from Theft Suffer Critical Injuries after Struck by Car on North Fallbrook Avenue

 
WEST HILLS, CA (April 8, 2024) – Two people were critically injured in a pedestrian accident on North Fallbrook Avenue in the West Hills area of Los Angeles Saturday evening on April 6.
 
The accident happened around 9:43 p.m. just south of Vanowen Street. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victims were running away after theft when a car struck them.
 
The impact caused the victims significant injuries. Responding paramedics took both to a trauma center in critical condition.
 
No other details were immediately available. An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
