4 Hospitalized in 2-Vehicle Crash on Elkhorn Boulevard in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 9, 2024) — A toddler was among four people injured in a 2-car accident on Elkhorn Boulevard at Levee Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday. For unknown reasons, an eastbound pickup truck turning left crashed into a westbound sedan on Elkhorn Boulevard.
 
Moments later, paramedics responded and took the two male drivers to a hospital after they complained of pain. A 24-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy who were passengers in the sedan suffered a broken arm and cut to the eye, respectively.
 
Authorities did not release the ultimate cause of the accident, but an investigation is underway.
