SAN MARCOS, CA (September 13, 2021) – At least three people suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident on South Las Posas Road on September 5.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at La Mirada Drive around 2:45 AM.
 
Based on reports, a white sedan was at the intersection at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an oncoming vehicle T-boned the car. Subsequently, at the scene, the vehicle that hit the car burst into flames. Then, the driver of that vehicle ran away from the scene.
 
As a result, three occupants of the white sedan sustained critical injuries. Paramedics transported the victims to the hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, officers do not have a description of the vehicle and the driver. Also, San Diego County sheriff’s officials are still investigating this hit-and-run accident on South Las Posas Road.
