Car Crashes on Highway 79 in Beaumont Injuring Three People

 
BEAUMONT, CA (January 22, 2024) – Three people were injured in a car accident on Highway 79 in Lambs Canyon south of Beaumont Saturday evening on January 20.
 
The accident happened around 7:13 p.m. at Dump Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle went about 100 feet off the highway for unknown reasons.
 
Riverside County Fire Department crews responded and found one person ejected from the car. That person suffered serious injuries. A second person suffered moderate injuries and a third had minor injuries.
 
Paramedics transported all three patients to hospitals for proper treatment.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
