RIO VISTA, CA (June 13, 2023) – Three people were hurt in a head-on accident on Highway 12 in Rio Vista Saturday afternoon on June 10.
 
The accident happened east of Jackson Slough Road just south of Isleton. According to the River Delta Fire District, two cars collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, three people suffered unspecified injuries. One of the patients was airlifted to a hospital and the two others were taken by ground ambulance.
 
It is unclear if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
