Thomas Pierson Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 4th Street near P Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 8, 2021) — Thomas Pierson died in a pedestrian accident on 4th Street near P Street Monday.
According to police officers, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 1:00 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver traveling near McKinley Elementary School struck 40-year-old Thomas Henry Pierson as he tried crossing the road.
Subsequently, the driver exited the vehicle to check on Pearson. However, a second driver struck both pedestrians. As a result, Pierson died in the crash, and the other driver sustained moderate injuries.
As of now, the Bakersfield Police have ruled out alcohol as a possible explanation for the accident. However, if anyone has more information, please contact the police.
