51-Year-Old Terry Houlston-Reid Dead in Twentynine Palms Motorcycle Crash

 
TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA (March 27, 2024) – Authorities identified 51-year-old Terry Houlston-Reid of Westminster as the woman killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 62, Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on March 22, at about 7:30 p.m. An eastbound Harley Davidson reportedly lost control on a curved road near Ironage Road.
 
Then, the motorcycle overturned in the right shoulder of the road near Sheephole Valley Wilderness. The impact ejected his passenger, Houlston-Reid, from the motorcycle.
 
Emergency crews transported the rider, identified as 62-year-old Ronald Mitchell, and Houlston-Reid to Hi-Desert Medical Center.
 
Houlston-Reid was later pronounced dead. Meanwhile, Mitchell received treatment for minor injuries.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Investigators also confirmed that both riders were wearing helmets.
