Rollover Accident on Highway 94 in San Diego Injures Passenger, Teen Driver Arrested

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 25, 2022) – Police arrested a teen driver after a rollover accident on Highway 94 in the Golden Hill area of San Diego, early Monday morning.
 
The accident happened around 1:24 a.m. on January 24 near 5 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling westbound on the highway ramp to the northbound 5 Freeway when it crashed and overturned on its roof.
 
The impact left the passenger trapped inside the car. Paramedics took the patient to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
 
Meanwhile, officers arrested the teen driver at the scene.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. An investigation is still ongoing.
