Suspected Detained After Police Pursuit Ends in Crash at Alameda Street in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 14, 2024) — Officers arrested several suspects following a police chase accident at Alameda Street and Firestone Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened in Southgate around 11:00 p.m. Friday. Police spotted the vehicles doing donuts at an intersection in an unincorporated part of Compton. Subsequently, authorities followed the suspects who led them on a chase.
 
At some point during the chase, the fleeing suspects, bearing at speeds of 120 miles per hour from the 210 Freeway, exited and crashed into a car in the South Gate area. From there, the vehicle plowed through a small brick wall and crashed into a parked minivan outside 7-Eleven.
 
Three suspects leaped out of the Infiniti sedan and ran on foot but were soon apprehended.
 
Officers were able to detain the suspects.
