Steven Sanchez Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Angeles Forest Highway [Palmdale, CA]

21-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Palmdale

 
PALMDALE, CA (February 9, 2024) – Steven Castillo Sanchez was killed in a pedestrian accident in Palmdale Sunday morning on February 4.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:25 a.m. at 32101 Angeles Forest Highway, just south of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway and north of Mt. Emma Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck Sanchez on the highway bordering on or within the Angeles National Forest.
 
The impact caused Sanchez fatal injuries and he died at the scene. He was 21 years old.
 
It was unclear if the driver remained at the scene.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
