Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Garbage Truck in Garden Grove

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (April 4, 2024) – Stephen Douglas Sanders was killed in a motorcycle accident in Garden Grove Tuesday afternoon on April 2.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:15 p.m. in the 11700 block of Western Avenue. According to the Garden Grove Police Department, Sanders was riding a 2023 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he collided with a garbage truck.
 
Responding paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Sanders was 56 years old of Anaheim.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the garbage truck stayed on scene and cooperated with officers.
