OLANCHA, CA (December 1, 2021) — Several people were injured in a multi-car accident on Highway 395 near Cactus Flats Road on Wednesday morning.
 
According to reports, the multi-car collision happened around 11:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, a semi-truck driver failed to see northbound traffic coming to a stop. Subsequently, the semi-truck collided with a travel trailer and a pickup at speeds of 50 mph.
 
Due to the impact, the pickup and travel trailer collided with the rear of a Toyota SUV and burst into flames on the northbound shoulder. Shortly after, paramedics responded and tended to the victims who suffered only minor injuries.
 
At this time, investigators have not released the ultimate cause of the accident. However, if anyone has more information, please call the California Highway Patrol.
