SANTA CLARITA, CA (May 10, 2023) — Sean Cowan was involved in a hit-and-run 2-car accident near Canyon High School and Whites Canyon Road.
 
According to news reports, the two-vehicle crash happened around 6:15 a.m. Monday. As 17-year-old Sean Cowan was headed to school, a truck traveling eastbound swerved into his lane. In an attempt to avoid the head-on collision, Cowan swerved to the left, resulting in the two vehicles sideswiping each other.
 
The suspect’s car reportedly flipped onto a curb and landed on its side. The suspect fled the scene on foot minutes later.
