71-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Barstow

 
BARSTOW, CA (August 4, 2023) – Sandra Leps Poe died in a pedestrian accident in Barstow on July 24.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:34 p.m. on West Main Street near Woodhill Avenue. According to the Barstow Police Department, Poe was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, Poe suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was 71 years old from Barstow.
 
It was unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
