Ryan Hulon Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 198 at Ben Maddox Way

 
VISALIA, CA (November 4, 2022) — Ryan Hulon died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 198 at Ben Maddox Way.
 
According to authorities, the motorcycle accident happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a 30-year-old man and a woman on a motorcycle were riding at a high rate of speed before they rear-ended a Toyota 4Runner moving at about 65 miles per hour.
 
As a result of the impact, the pair were ejected onto the pavement while the Toyota smashed into a guardrail.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and declared the motorcyclist, later identified as Hulon, deceased at the scene. Medics transported his seriously injured wife and the Toyota driver to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment.
 
At this time, authorities do not know if impairment played a factor. However, an investigation into the crash should confirm more details. If anyone has more information to share, please call the California Highway Patrol.
