51-Year-Old Robert Morris Jr. Dies after Struck by Vehicle in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (March 11, 2024) – Robert Joseph Morris Jr. was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Bernardino Saturday night on March 9.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:50 p.m. on West 16th Street, just west of E Street. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, Morris was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
Responding paramedics transported Morris to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries at 7:43 pm. He was 51 years old from Moreno Valley.
 
It was unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
