41-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck Car while Running Across Palmdale Street

 
PALMDALE, CA (September 13, 2023) – Robert Fulcher was killed in a pedestrian accident in Palmdale early Friday morning on September 8.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:45 a.m. on Palmdale Boulevard near Fifth Street East. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Fulcher was trying to run south across Palmdale Boulevard when he was hit by a silver Chevrolet Camaro that was heading east.
 
The driver of a vehicle that was directly in front of the Camaro was able to swerve to avoid hitting Fulcher, but the Camaro driver was unable to react in time and struck him.
 
Fulcher suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was 41 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.
 
The agency had no city of residency for Fulcher.
 
The driver of the Camaro remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
