Richard Velasquez Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Meridian Avenue near Parkmoor Avenue
SAN JOSE, CA (March 15, 2021) — Richard Velasquez died on March 4, days after a pedestrian accident on Meridian Avenue near Parkmoor Avenue.
According to authorities, the fatal accident happened on February 24. Under unclear circumstances, a 2011 Jeep Cherokee heading northbound struck the 36-year-old. Per investigations, Velasquez was walking westbound against a “Do Not Walk” signal near Parkmoor Avenue.
As a result, the San Jose man died a week later and the driver evaded harm.
