Richard May Fatally Hit by Car at Post Street and Hyde Street

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 2, 2023) — Richard May was hit and killed in a two-car accident at Post Street and Hyde Street.
 
According to reports, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 10:40 a.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, two cars collided near the intersection where Richard D. May was walking. Subsequently, at least one of the cars struck May.
 
According to a witness, a BMW was speeding eastbound on Post Street through the intersection and clipped a black Audi which spun around and struck May.
 
Soon after, San Francisco police officers showed up and investigated the crash before arresting the BMW driver. Tragically, May, who was supposed to perform that Saturday night in the first of the three-weekend run of “Death of a Salesman” passed away.
 
Authorities have no other information surrounding this fatal crash. If anyone has additional information to add, please call the San Francisco police.
