Ricardo Diaz Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 138 [Llano, CA]

Early Morning Crash Involving 2 Vehicles on Highway 138 in Llano Leaves 1 Person Dead

 
LLANO, CA (February 14, 2023) – Ricardo Llanos Diaz was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Llano early Monday morning on February 13.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:13 a.m. on Highway 138, just west of Pearblossom Highway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling eastbound on the highway when it crashed into a stalled car.
 
Diaz was ejected from a vehicle and died at the scene. He was a 45-year-old Palmdale resident, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
It is unknown which vehicle Diaz was riding in.
 
The circumstances of the death remain under investigation.
