Randy Villalobos Dead after Motorcycle Crash on West Avenue and Princeton Avenue
FRESNO, CA (January 25, 2021) — A Fresno County correctional officer identified as 33-year-old Randy Villalobos died in a motorcycle crash.
The incident took place on West Avenue and Princeton Avenue at around 6:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22.
According to reports, Villalobos was on his way home from work on a motorcycle. Then he crashed with a pickup truck near the intersection of West and Princeton.
Paramedics tried to revive Villalobos. Then they rushed him to Community Regional Medical Center where he died.
The driver of the truck did not sustain any injuries and is not impaired. He stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Based on the initial information, officers believe the driver may have been at fault.
Officials closed the roadway for approximately 6 hours as they conducted their on-scene investigation.
